At that time almost all government publications looked like dull 70’s information output: design was dreary and lacked the ability to really engage its audience.
After Miles Playne won the initial pitch in 1996 he went on to design ten issues over the coming years and set a new standard in Government publications. The magazine design went on to win a number of awards.
